Dr. Li Nan has been active in clinical front of Cardiology and has rich experience in diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. She has made profound study in prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiovascular disease and risk factors. 

She leads the Women's Cardiology Project collaborated by DeltaHealth Hospital and Columbia Heart Source.

In 1995, she took part in WHO Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Training hosted by Sun Yat-Sen University. When she was working in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University, she was trained by Internal medicine and Surgery Expert from Loma Linda University. In 2011, she was trained by general practice ex-pert from Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University and University of Michigan. She has been visiting scholar in Mayo Clinic and Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. In addition to clinical practice, she has been organizing Chinese experts to help multiple U.S. hospitals in providing remote consultation and transfer consultation. She is an active AHA member and an Emeritus Professor of International College of Clinical Nutrition.
